Who We Are

Glampphobic is a loose and diverse collective of peoople who out of frustration with the challenges of planning group camping trips, set out to make camping more affordable and accessible. Doing so by tackling issues such as planning, food, finding friends to go with, transportation and high equipment costs.

We do so by working under one banner and sharing our work and resources while organizing various Peer -Led Community based camping retreats. This means that while - due to our diversity - we dont all work on organizing every trip, we each contribute to making the next trip easier to organize and more affordable.

Our Mission

At Glampphobic, we believe that connecting to nature, building community, and going camping should be easy, affordable , and accessible. That the wil should stay wild. No wifi, glam or fluff. Just real dirt, real fires, real silence—and a real connection to nature.

Our goal is that by working together we can organize old-fashioned camping trips for people who want to unplug, get their hands dirty, and experience the outdoors the way it was meant to be that are hassle free, free, affordable and accessible, whether someone is a first-time camper or a seasoned veteran, or camping alone or with friends, what ever there situation might be

Every Glampphobic trip is a shared adventure. We build community around the campfire, challenge ourselves in nature, and rediscover the joy of simplicity.
